Biography

2025: Mel played in 26 games, making 23 starts, as a sophomore… She hit .302 recording 13 hits, one double, scored 14 runs, and drove in four. She finished the season with a .326 slugging percentage. Mel received the Coach's Award at the 2025 Athletics Awards Dinner. 

2024: Mel started 29 games as a first-year ... She finished with a .278 batting average, 20 hits, 15 runs, one double, seven RBIs and 10 stolen bases. She was given the Coach's Award at the 2024 Athletics Awards Dinner.
