Purchase College Athletics

A former three-sport college athlete and inaugural member of the Purchase Athletics Hall of Fame, Krasniqi Munrett is the program's Internal Operations Manager and Senior Women's Administrator (SWA). She has also held head and assistant coaching positions at Purchase during her tenure, including her current post as head women's volleyball coach as well as the head women's softball coach from 2011-15.

Prior to that, she was the department's Facilities Manager and an assistant for women's basketball, and men's and women's volleyball.  

In addition to her administrative and coaching responsibilities, Krasniqi Munrett has volunteered to help schedule all of the staffing for the mandatory COVID-19 pool testing. She also recently became a certified COVID-19 Contact Tracer where she educates others on the principles and safety procedures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This education includes interviewing people diagnosed with the virus, identifying their close contacts who might have been exposed, and providing them guidance for self-quarantine.

As a collegian, Krasniqi Munrett lettered in three varsity sports at Purchase from 2002-06. The two-time Purchase College Female Athlete of the Year was an All-Conference selection in all three,

Krasniqi Munrett earned her undergraduate degree at Purchase and her Master’s at Manhattanville College. She resides in Connecticut with her husband Kevin and their three children, Sophie, William and Joseph.
