Purchase College Athletics

Stephanie Santora was named Internal Operations Manager at Purchase College in January 2024 and previously served as the Sports Information Director. In addition, she returned to the women's soccer coaching staff in 2022, nearly a decade after serving as the program's interim head coach (2013). 

Prior to wearing the internal ops cap, Santora spent 12 years in sports communications. In her previous role, she was responsible for the maintenance of Purchase's athletic website (purchasecollegeathletics.com), writing and distributing game recaps and press releases, keeping statistics for all home events, maintaining historical archives, and promoting all varsity sports to media outlets and the Panther community. 

Santora graduated from Purchase in May 2011 with a BA in journalism and returned to Purchase as a full-time staffer in 2012. The former Purchase College SAAC President, who also served for the Skyline Conference, was honored by the department with the Gloria Cimaglia Student-Assistant of the Year for all of her charitable endeavors, excellence in community service and dedication to the program.

While attending PC, Santora was a four-year starter, two-year captain and successful goalkeeper on the women's soccer team. She suffered a career-threatening injury at the start of her senior campaign but bounced back for the final home game to finish her collegiate career on a high note.

Santora returned to the women's soccer program the following season as an assistant coach and goalie trainer. Santora later served as the interim head coach during the 2013 season. During that time, she led the Panthers to post-season play as they competed in Skyline playoffs for the sixth time since 2007.   

Santora currently resides in Port Chester, NY with her husband Dan and their son Jack.
