Mitchell Paz (SO/Bridgeport, CT) was the pitching star of the weekend. He tossed a five-inning no-hitter in the snow on Mar. 16 as Purchase downed John Jay, 20-0. He struck out five batters for his first victory of the season. He has allowed just nine hits in 15.1 innings pitched on the year.

He was later named Skyline Conference Pitcher of the Week and PC Student-Athlete of the Week, sharing the honor with his baseball teammate Justin Sherman (SR/New Rochelle, NY).
