Deshawn Cann (JR/Queens, NY) averaged 19.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals per contest, while shooting 19-for-32 (.594) from the field in the Panthers' 2-0 Skyline week.

The swingman went for 21 points, 16 boards, six assists, one block and two steals Saturday against SUNY Maritime. Midweek versus St. Joseph's-Brooklyn, Cann went for 18 points, eight caroms and three steals. He turned the ball over just twice on the week.

He was later named the PC Student-Athlete of the Week, the Skyline Player of the Week and received honorable mention for the Met Basketball Writers Association Player of the Week.
