For the second straight week, Michael Sarni (JR/Shelton, CT) takes home PC Student-Athlete of the Week honors. The Panther second baseman was named the Skyline Rookie of the Week a week after garnering Skyline Honor Roll honors.

Sarni hit at a .533 clip, scoring three runs from the top spot in the order on the week. Purchase went 2-2 on the weekend, with Sarni starring in the leadoff spot. He added two RBI and three stolen bases in four games, while recording three multi-hit games in two doubleheaders.
