Edgewater, NJ (Oct. 17, 2012) – Purchase dominated Wednesday night's road match, nearly sweeping singles and championing all three doubles in an 8-1 final.

Purchase improved to 7-3 overall and 3-2 in conference play in the victory, dropping the host Maccabees to 2-5 and 1-5, respectively. Doubles gave Purchase a quick start. Moriah Ormsby (JR/Montebello, NY) and Ashley Bernhardt (JR/Bethpage, NY) won 8-3 at first doubles. Melissa Siller (SO/Roslyn Heights, NY) and Chelsea Quinn (JR/Southold, NY) teamed for an 8-4 final at No. 2 and Jasmine Rippey (FR/Deansboro, NY) and Lilly Murray (JR/New Canaan, CT) combined for an 8-2 win at No. 3.

In singles, Ormsby won in straight sets (6-0, 6-0), downing Shara Feltheimer at No. 1, while Siller yielded a 6-1, 6-0 final at second singles.
Bernhardt and Quinn kept rolling at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, and Murray captured the final singles win in a 6-0, 6-0 results against Yeshiva's Danielle Stern.

YU won at No. 6 behind Tova Weingarten.
