(Oct. 10, 2015) – Purchase carved up an overwhelming 12-0 victory Saturday at home.
The Panthers dominated SJC-BKLYN in the first half behind the dynamic duo of
Marykate McGee (SR/Oceanside, NY) and
Riley Graham (JR/Red Bluff, CA).
McGee scored the game's first two goals and finished with four over the first 45 minutes. Graham added four of her own in the first half in an impressive showing against the undermanned Bears.
Emily Saltman (SO/Huntington, NY) tallied the other goal in the period.
Saltman picked up the scoring in the second half with her second goal of the game – her fourth of the year. Graham followed with her fifth and sixth strikes of the game to close the scoring at 12.
Graham now has 21 this fall and is two shy of breaking the program record set by Abigail Katz for a season. McGee has 11 goals on the year. Saltman finished the afternoon with two goals and a team-leading three assists.
