Roula Zyada (Cairo, Egypt), junior 
Caroline Haldeman-Emmerling (Miami Shores, FL) and sophomore 
Catherine Pasquale (Valhalla, NY), the Purchase College women's tennis team suffered a 6-3 loss to Skyline Conference opponent Yeshiva University on Tuesday night.
With the loss, Purchase falls to 6-5 overall and 2-3 in the Skyline, while Yeshiva improves to 4-3 overall and 4-1 in the league.
The Maccabees opened up the evening's action with a 3-0 sweep in doubles.  Yeshiva's Shani Hava, Tzipora Leiser and Lindsay Frucher later picked up another three points with wins at first, second and sixth singles, respectively.
Zyada picked up the No. 3 singles point with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Yeshiva's Jannah Eichenbaum.  Emmerling battled to a 4-6, 6-2, 11-9 victory over Galila Shapiro at the No. 4 spot, while Pasquale rounded out the Panther scoring with a fifth singles win over Ayala Carl, 6-2, 6-1. 
 
Purchase will continue its competitive Skyline schedule with a 4:30 p.m. road match against Farmingdale State on Thursday.
