(Oct. 17, 2015) – The Purchase women's tennis team concluded their 2015 season with a Skyline Conference win over The Sage Colleges, 5-3, on Saturday at the Saratoga YMCA.
Purchase closes the season with a record of 7-6 overall and 3-4 in the league. Sage falls to 2-11 overall and 1-6 in the league.
The Panthers picked up wins at first and second doubles to kickoff the afternoon. Junior co-captains
Emma Yavel (Brooklyn, NY) and
Erika Fulton (Wallingford, CT) defeated Emily Schultz and Katie Schultz, 8-2, while
Catherine Pasquale (SO/Valhalla, NY) and Catherine Haldeman-Emmerling (JR/Miami Shores, FL) picked up the No. 2 win by a score of 8-2.

Hannah Youssef (Carmel, NY) earned wins at third fourth and sixth singles, respectively.
Sage's senior co-captain Katie Schultz collected a win at No. 1 singles as she beat Yavel, 7-5, 6-3.
Sage's senior co-captain Melissa Estremera played at No. 2 singles, but with a time limit on the court use, the match was unfinished after Estremara won the first set, 7-6 (8-6), but trailed 5-3 in the second set to Fulton.
