Purchase, NY 
(Oct. 19, 2015) – Women's soccer scored a pair of early goals, paving the way for a 9-0 non-conference victory over John Jay Monday night at home.
The Panthers raced out to a 2-0 lead in the first half.
Midfielder 
Amanda Green (JR/Roslyn, NY) started the scoring off on an assist from 
Kristen Kohn (SR/Morristown, NJ). Green scored on a breakaway. It is Green's fifth of the season.  
Green paced the Panthers, especially in the midfield play.
Purchase added a second, first-half goal off the foot of 
Riley Graham (JR/Red Bluff, CA). Graham notched her 27th of the fall on an assist from 
Emily Saltman (SO/Huntington, NY).
The hosts outshot John Jay 21-3 in the first period.
Purchase broke through for seven more in the second half, sealing the shutout win in commanding fashion.
Saltman started the scoring in the second with her fifth of the year. Shortly later she would add her second of the game. In between, Green recorded her second of the contest.
Saltman would finish the night with three goals and two assists. The sophomore now has seven goals.
Green then followed with back-to-back scores and an amazing night, notching four goals. The standout now has eight goals on the year.
Marykate McGee (SR/Oceanside, NY) had the final score, later in the second half. McGee now has 13 on the fall. 
Pernille Karlson (SR/Hadsund, Denmark) also had an assist in the win.  
Keeper 
Briana Leon (JR/Glen Cove, NY) earned the shutout win in goal for Purchase.
