Newburgh, NY (Oct. 17, 2015) – Saturday, Purchase took in two matches at Mount Saint Mary. The host Knights delivered a 3-0 win. Sage also defeated Purchase 3-0.

In addition, the Gators defeated MSMC as the Knights split, Sage swept and Purchase lost two on the afternoon.

MSMC posted a 25-9, 25-10, 25-16 final against the Panthers. Jacquelyn Survilla led the Mount's offensive attack against Purchase with five kills, adding a service ace and a pair of digs in the win. In the loss, the Panthers were paced by Alex Lally (JR/Sunnyvale, TX), who had six kills and three assists. Cynthia Plackis (SO/Huntington, NY) added five defensive digs to lead Purchase.

Sage defeated Purchase 25-4, 25-11, 25-18. Sage improves to 17-7 overall, riding an eight-match win streak.

Against Purchase, Gator libero Siena Wilder had a match-leading and team-leading 12 aces with eight digs and was 11-0 in receptions with no errors. Setter Rachel Liebig fired off eight aces in leading the Gators as they had a .405 attack percentage.

Lally also led the Panthers against Sage, recording five kills, six assists and six digs.
