(Oct. 6, 2015) – The Brooklyn College men's soccer team scored three second-half goals en route to a 3-0 home win over Purchase Tuesday night at BC Field.
The win improves Brooklyn to 5-5-1 and drops the Panthers to 3-9.
Both teams recorded 14 shots apiece on the night, but the hosts managed to capitalize on three of them, including two strikes from Valentyn Kharko, who scored in the 54th and 66th minutes, respectively. The first goal was assisted by Christopher North, the second by Jean-Luc Saint-Fleur. Brooklyn tacked on a third goal in the 87th minute as Kevin Brenan scored off another assist from North.
The Panthers will return to conference play Thursday night at home against Sarah Lawrence. Purchase will cap the week of action with two league games (SLC and Old Westbury).
