Purchase, NY (Sept. 30, 2015) – Two goals apiece from Marykate McGee and Riley Graham lifted Purchase to a 5-0 win Wednesday night at home.

Purchase downed visiting Sarah Lawrence in a Skyline Conference tilt. The Panthers advance to 2-8 overall and 2-2 in league action, while the Gryphons drop to 3-5 overall and 1-3 in the Skyline.

Forwards McGee (SR/Oceanside, NY) and Graham (JR/Red Bluff, CA) led the Panthers in the victory, tallying a combined four goals for the hosts. 

McGee opened up the scoring in the third minute off a cross from Graham.  She added a second at 24:35 off an assist from midfielder Amanda Green (JR/Roslyn Heights, NY).

Purchase went into the halftime up 2-0 and put the finishing touches behind three second-half goals, including the first of the fall for newcomer Alexa Youre-Moses (FR/Rockaway Beach, NY) and the 13th and 14th goals of the season for Graham.  

Green assisted on the Youre-Moses goal, while Emily Saltman (SO/Huntington, NY) and McGee added assists on the Graham scores, respectively.

The Panthers outshot SLC 24-1 and dominated the game, tallying nine corner kicks. Despite picking up the loss, Sarah Lawrence goalkeeper Addie Rosenberg tallied an impressive nine saves for the visitors.

Purchase recorded the shutout, holding SLC to one shot on the night and no corner kicks.

The Panthers will continue their conference schedule at Old Westbury on Oct. 3.
