Purchase, NY (Oct. 3, 2016) – Sarah Lawrence topped Purchase 25-12, 25-15, 25-11 Monday night.

The Gryphons were paced offensively by CJ Kelley and her eight kills. Clarisse Taboy added five for the visitors. Kelley would also contribute 14 assists and one block in a nice all-around effort.

In the process, SLC improved to 11-4 overall, including 3-1 in Skyline Conference play, dropping Purchase to 0-14 on the fall and 0-3 in the league. Marie Richter led SLC with six digs.

Purchase was paced by rookie Isis Gonzalez (FR/New York, NY) and Kaitlyn Pillig (SO/Mamaroneck, NY). Gonzalez totaled a team-high four kills, adding one ace and one assist, while Pillig netted two aces and six assists – both Panther highs. The rookie setter also finished with five digs defensively. Fellow newcomer Kayla O'Connell (FR/Yonkers, NY) led the team in that category with eight on the night, good enough for the match high.
