Brooklyn, NY (Sept. 29, 2016) – Bouncing back from a two-match losing streak, the Purchase women's tennis team picked up an 8-1 non-conference victory at Brooklyn College Thursday afternoon.

Purchase (4-6) swept the doubles competition, pulling ahead of the Bulldogs (3-6) early on.  The Panthers went on to claim wins at all but the first singles position.  Caroline Haldeman-Emmerling (JR/Miami Shores, FL) and Nastaja Stepec (SO/New York, NY) each battled in their own tiebreaker sets, tallying wins at the No. 3 and 4 spots.
