(Oct. 19, 2017) – The College of Mount Saint Vincent stayed perfect in conference play Thursday night at Purchase.
The Dolphins swept the Panthers 3-0 (25-9, 25-14, 25-9) to run their record to a perfect 7-0 in league play.
Resilient Purchase bounced back from a tough first set against powerhouse CMSV, scoring 14 points while rallying late, but the Dolphins were just too much. The visitors carried the momentum into the third set, sealing the victory in another 25-9 final.
Kaitlyn Pillig (JR/Mamaroneck, NY) paced Purchase with six kills.
Alex Lally (SR/Mesquite, TX) added eight assists.
Isis Gonzalez (SO/New York, NY) was the defensively leader with seven digs.
CMSV's Tara Maloney recorded a match-high 10 kills in the victory. Teammate Nicole Henderson handed out a match-high 21 assists.
Although Purchase will be celebrating Senior Night on Thursday, Oct. 26, one senior will not be able to attend, and the Panthers were able to recognize here tonight against CMSV.

Plackis (SR/East Northport, NY) will also be recognized during the program's annual awards banquet in April.
Plackis and the Panthers return to action this weekend at Mount Saint Mary.
