(Oct. 21, 2017) – The Purchase College women's volleyball team traveled to Mount Saint Mary Saturday for a tri-match with MSMC and St. Joseph's College-BKLYN.
The Knights posted a 3-0 win, while SJC-BKLYN also registered a 3-0 victory over the Panthers. The Mount would also defeat SJC-BKLYN, celebrating Senior Day Saturday.
Danielle Kralik led MSMC with eight kills in the opener against Purchase. The Panthers were paced offensively by
Kaitlyn Pillig (JR/Mamaroneck, NY), who finished with five kills.
Alex Lally (SR/Mesquite, TX) added eight assists and nine digs. Pillig also contributed seven digs and one block in the first match of the day for visiting Purchase.
Against SJC-BKLYN, Lally added six kills and 12 digs. Pillig also performed well, notching two aces, five assists and 10 digs.
Isis Gonzalez (SO/New York, NY) added nine digs.
SJC-BKLYN was led by Nina DiCioccio and her 12 digs. Valentina Urgo followed with 10 digs.
The Panthers are home Monday and Thursday this week, and are set to celebrate Senior Night on Thursday.
