(Oct. 3, 2017) – The win streak continues for the Purchase women's soccer team as they knock off non-conference rival Brooklyn College, 4-0, at BC Field on Monday night.
The Panthers (4-5) got things going in the 16th minute as a pass by rookie ace
Cerissa DiValentino (New Paltz, NY) found the feet of midfielder
Brett Robison (SO/Franklin Square, NY). Robison netted the game-winner from five yards out.
Purchase would hold the 1-0 lead for the remainder of the first half before DiValentino added at second and third at 62:57 and 68:45, respectively. Teammate
Nina Brennan (SR/Staten Island, NY) was awarded the assist on the DiValentino's first goal, while
Emma Porter (SR/Homer, NY) notched the "A" on her second.
With less than 10 minutes left in play, Purchase newcomer
Jessica Warren (JR/Stony Point, NY) scored her first career goal off a long cross from Porter.
