Brooklyn, NY (Oct. 3, 2017) – The win streak continues for the Purchase women's soccer team as they knock off non-conference rival Brooklyn College, 4-0, at BC Field on Monday night.  

The Panthers (4-5) got things going in the 16th minute as a pass by rookie ace Cerissa DiValentino (New Paltz, NY) found the feet of midfielder Brett Robison (SO/Franklin Square, NY). Robison netted the game-winner from five yards out.

Purchase would hold the 1-0 lead for the remainder of the first half before DiValentino added at second and third at 62:57 and 68:45, respectively. Teammate Nina Brennan (SR/Staten Island, NY) was awarded the assist on the DiValentino's first goal, while Emma Porter (SR/Homer, NY) notched the "A" on her second.

With less than 10 minutes left in play, Purchase newcomer Jessica Warren (JR/Stony Point, NY) scored her first career goal off a long cross from Porter.

Goalkeeper Amber Yarter (SO/Albany, NY) came through for the Panthers with six saves on  the night while Brooklyn's Ketty Pena had nine.

The team returns to action this Wednesday, Oct. 5, as they travel to Farmingdale State for a Skyline Conference game starting at 7 p.m.
