Old Westbury, NY (Sept. 29, 2017) – Purchase women's volleyball traveled to SUNY College at Old Westbury Friday afternoon for a tri-match with the rival Panthers and Cedar Crest College.

Cedar Crest sweep the afternoon, topping both OW and Purchase, while OW split the tri-match taking one from Purchase and falling to Cedar Crest (9-3). The hosts improved to 8-5.

They opened with a three-set win (25-9, 25-18, 25-21) against Purchase.

Kristin Grieshaber's third-career double-double led the way for Old Westbury after compiling 13 digs, 11 assists and six kills.

Maura Gribbins (JR/Buffalo, NY) totaled 10 kills (game-high) and three aces for Purchase. Alex Lally (SR/Mesquite, NY) added 16 assists and two block assists.

Nicole Hill had a match-high 13 kills while Molly Schnaubelt contributed 11 kills and five digs in leading Cedar Crest to victory over OW.   

In the second match of the day, Hill led the attack with 10 kills against Purchase.

Gribbins totaled eight kills and 14 digs – both team highs – against Cedar Crest. Lally added a match-high 16 assists.
