(Oct. 20, 2018) – The Purchase College men's soccer team took a 3-0 loss this afternoon to visiting Mount Saint Mary College in Skyline Conference play.
The Panthers sit at 5-7-2 overall and 3-5-1 in Skyline, while the Knights improve to 11-5-1 overall and 7-1-1 in the league.
The Mount scored in the 43rd minute on a Joseph Mesoraca free kick to take a 1-0 first half advantage.
In the second half, rookie Connor Doyle recorded his seventh and eighth season goals at 63:55 and 69:33, respectively. Anthony Gugliemo was awarded the assist on Doyle's first goal.
MSMC concluded the game with a 16-11 edge in shots, while Purchase led 5-1 in corner kicks.

Jordan Meade (SO/Olivebridge, NY) totaled six saves, including an impressive dive that shutdown a Knight attempt in the 41st minute.
Purchase has a pair of home games remaining in its regular season. The Panthers will first play host to non-conference Western Connecticut on Monday (Oct. 22) before facing Skyline opponent Yeshiva University on Wednesday (Oct. 24).
