Junior guard Maxx Miller (White Plains, NY) added 20 points, six boards and three assists, while senior guard Rob Grullon (Wallkill, NY) connected on 7-of-13 field goal attempts, totaling 16 points. Senior guard Willie Britton (Queens, NY) came off the bench to net another 12 points, while pulling down five boards.

Both teams came out hot in the first half as the opening 20 minutes featured 10 lead changes. With just over 10 minutes left in the half, Panther senior captain Michael Soffer (Agoura Hills, CA) broke a 23-23 tie with an unassisted layup.

A 37-21 Purchase run to end the half gave the Panthers a 62-44 advantage at the break.
