PURCHASE, NY – Purchase women's volleyball dropped a Skyline Conference match to neighboring Manhattanville College, 3-0, at home Monday evening.
The visiting Valiants combined for an impressive .441 team hitting percentage, securing the shutout victory with set scores of 25-4, 25-5 and 25-7. With the win, Manhattanville remains undefeated in the Skyline (8-0), while improving to 19-5 overall.
The Panthers combined for seven kills, five assists and 24 digs. Senior co-captain and middle blocker

Samantha Fasce (Yorktown, NY) each tallied a pair of kills, while sophomore setter
Skyla Schoppmeyer (Oakdale, NY) recorded four assists for the home team. Senior co-captain and libero
Isis Gonzalez (Brooklyn, NY) led the defensive effort with seven kills.
For Manhattanville, sophomore right side Emma Dronzek notched a match-best 10 kills on 18 attempts with just a single error (.500). Sophomore outside hitter Alejandra Figueroa totaled nine kills (.368) and three aces, while freshman setter Vianca Vital put up a notable 31 assists.
Purchase returns to its home court again on Wednesday as the Panthers get set to celebrate Senior Night with a non-conference match against Five Towns College. Match start is slated for 7:30 p.m.
