DANBURY, CT - The Purchase College women's tennis team was defeated at Western Connecticut State University Friday night, by the score of 7-2.

Purchase (1-5) got its first victory at the #2 doubles spot, as Sonja Boyko (FR/Babylon, NY) and Isabel Biagiotti (SO/Highland Hills, NY) topped their opposition, 8-6. Afterwards, Raquelle DeCicco (JR/Kingston, NY) earned the final win of the day with a nice comeback, 5-7, 6-4 and 10-0, at #2 singles.

As for the Colonials of West Connecticut State, the team didn't drop a set in any of the other singles matches, improving to 4-3 overall with the effort.

Up next for the Panthers is a return to Skyline Conference action, as the team hosts St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn at 1 p.m. tomorrow (9/28).
