BRONX, NY - The Purchase College women's tennis team began the 2019 campaign with a loss Saturday afternoon, falling to Lehman College, 8-1.
Sophomore
Bianca Harris (Montgomery, NY) and junior
Raquelle DeCicco (Kingston, NY) provided the lone win of the day for the Panthers, as the #1 doubles team took the game by the score of 8-6.
Individually, Harris, DeCicco and freshman
Sonja Boyko each pushed their singles contests to three sets, but were defeated in the end.
With the victory, Lehman improved to 3-0.
Up next for Purchase is the first home contest of the year, as the Panthers host Brooklyn College on September 12th at 4 p.m.
