TEANECK, N.J. - The Purchase College men's soccer team was defeated by Yeshiva University Thursday night, falling in the Skyline Conference matchup by the score of 6-0.
With the result, the Panthers dropped to 4-6-1 overall and 1-5-1 in the Skyline, while the Maccabees improved to 2-4 and 2-3 respectively.
From the opening whistle, it was all Yeshiva in the win. The hosts scored just four minutes into the match, before doubling up that total in the 30th minute. Meanwhile, Purchase created just three shots in the opening half, with none coming on goal.
Once the second half began, the floodgates opened for the Maccabees to the tune of four goals en route to the eventual 6-0 win.Â
In the loss, the Panthers finished with 10 shots overall and four on frame.Â
