PURCHASE, NY – On a morning that students might have hit the snooze button or enjoyed time free from classes, the Purchase College baseball team got to work cleaning up the campus.

The Panther program took part in the "Day of Action for the Environment" service project on Election Day (Nov. 2). The event—sponsored by the College's Health Promotion, Wellness and OCE Departments—brought volunteers together to clean up garbage and litter throughout the hundreds of acres that make up the Purchase College campus. In addition to the cleanup, the baseball team also separated the filled bags into recyclables and non-recyclables so they could be discarded properly.
