PURCHASE, N.Y. – A fast start for the College of Mount Saint Vincent loomed large in a 6-1 Skyline Conference win over Purchase College Tuesday afternoon.
CMSV's (2-2-1, 1-0 Skyline) Emily McCarthy connected on two of the team's six shots in the opening minutes, fueling the early advantage for the visitors.

Kristen Purcell (JR/Sauquoit, NY) put the Panthers on the board with a goal in the 18th minute, but the Dolphins answered back at 42:41 to take a 3-1 halftime lead.

In her 2021 debut performance, CMSV goalie Kora-Lynn McCullough (1-0) was credited the win on a one-save effort. Meagan Meeuisse came off the bench to close out the final 15 minutes in net.
The Panthers return to their home turf this Saturday at noon for a Skyline matchup against SUNY Maritime.
