BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Purchase College women's volleyball was defeated by Sarah Lawrence College Tuesday night, falling in straight sets to the Skyline Conference foe.
Set scores for the match were 25-8, 25-8 and 25-6.
The Panthers (0-6 overall, 0-3 Skyline) were paced by
Pamella Gonzalez (JR/Bronx, NY)in the effort. She finished with two kills, four digs and an ace.
Hadiyah Phillips (SR/Pleasantville, NY) added two kills, while
Skyla Schoppmeyer (SR/Oakdale, NY) tallied a game-high nine digs in the loss.
As for the Gryphons of Sarah Lawrence (4-7, 2-0 Skyline), the hosts recorded 25 kills on .356 hitting and compiled runs of at least eight-straight points in all three sets, including 13-straight in sets two and three.
