BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Purchase College men's basketball team closed out the regular season in dramatic fashion after besting Sarah Lawrence, 79-70, on Saturday to secure a place in the league postseason. 

The Panthers moved to the No. 3 spot in the Skyline North Division and sixth overall. The team will take on No. 3 Yeshiva University on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 8 p.m.

Senior guard Eric Block (Warwick, NY) fueled the Panther offense with 22 points, to go along with a team-best three steals. Senior added 15 points and a game-leading seven assists, while reshman guard Mark Morgan (Bronx, NY) and junior forward Terrence Mason (Greenburgh, NY) finished with 12 and 10 points, respectively.  

Freshman forward Matthew Phillips led Purchase's defense with 10 boards, while also collecting eight points and three blocks.
