PURCHASE, N.Y. - The Purchase College women's lacrosse team was defeated in a Skyline Conference matchup Tuesday evening, falling at Manhattanville College by the score of 19-1.
With the result, the Panthers are now 1-7 overall and 0-4 in the conference. Meanwhile, the Valiants improved to 3-8 and 2-3, respectively.

However, the Valiants responded with five more goals to closeout the frame to lead 8-1 after 15 minutes. By halftime, Manhattanville had extended the margin to 14-1.
Individually, Buttice recorded two draw controls, while
Katie Borger (SR/Bellmore, NY) finished with three draw controls in the effort.
In goal,
Casandra Schmoger (JR/Islip, NY) received the loss after making 14 saves in 45 minutes of action.
Up next for the women's lacrosse team is a return home, as the Panthers will celebrate Senior Night on April 22nd against Mount Saint Mary College.
