PURCHASE, N.Y. - The Purchase College men's tennis team rolled to a perfect win Wednesday afternoon, besting the Gryphons of Sarah Lawrence College, 9-0.

From the very start, the Panthers (3-8 overall, 2-3 Skyline Conference) controlled the contest and never gave the guests a chance.

In doubles action, the three duos dropped a combined six games across the three matches. Once singles play began, the hosts continued their domination.

At the No. 1 spot, Julian Szuper (SR/New York, NY) secured a win by the score of 6-0, 6-1.

No. 2 Ben Joory (JR/Port Washington, NY) and No. 4 Frederick Kaden (FR/Farmingdale, NY) each won their contests - 6-3, 6-0, while No. 3 Simon Montalvo (SR/Valencia, Spain) dominated in the only straight-sets win of the day.

No. 5 David Goldstein (FR/Leonia, NJ) and No. 6 William Isidro (JR/Monroe, NY) each collected wins to secure the 9-0 overall win for the Panthers.
