PURCHASE, N.Y. - Purchase College Director of Athletics and Recreation Chris Bisignano is pleased to announce the hiring of Louis Sepulveda as the new head coach of the women's volleyball team.

Sepulveda joins the Panthers with a laundry list of accomplishments and experiences across his career.

Since 2010, Sepulveda has worked as a head coach for the Sportime Volleyball Club, training and overseeing student-athletes throughout the elementary, middle and high school ranks.

Over the 12 year-span, he has compiled a record of 173-32 and won the Garden Empire Volleyball Association Regional Championship in 2013.

As for his college coaching experience, Louis enjoyed success there as well, spending five seasons as head coach at Pratt Institute from 2016-2021.

During the years, he recorded 73 wins, won HVIAC Coach of the Year twice, coached numerous All-conference players, including the 2019 Player of the Year and won double-digit games each season.

Before his time at Pratt, Louis enjoyed stints at Baldwin High School and Island Trees High School as the Volleyball Program Director.

Sepulveda will be taking over the women's volleyball team following a one-year stint with Ryan Cole at the helm.

In 2021, the Panthers went 3-14 overall and 1-10 in the Skyline Conference. Seven of the 11 players from last year are expected to return this September.
