PURCHASE, N.Y. - The Purchase College women's volleyball team was defeated by Manhattanville College Monday evening, dropping the Skyline Conference matchup in straight sets.

Scores for the contest were 25-14, 25-9 and 25-12.

With the result, the Panthers dropped to 4-10 overall and 2-3 in the league. For the Valiants, they jumped to 8-8 and 4-0, respectively.

Individually, Lauren White (JR/Washington, DC) led the way with a team-high five kills, while Ava Landreth (FR/Brooklyn, NU) added four kills and two blocks.

Natalia Leite (FR/Thornwood, NY) collected 15 assists and Maya Brown (FR/Cartert, NJ) totaled 11 digs.

Purchase finished with 16 kills on -.069 hitting on the night, but was outpaced by the visitors, as Manhattanville compiled 32 kills on .265 in the win.

Up next for the Blue and Orange is a home matchup with Mount Saint Mary College on October 5th at 7 p.m.
