New Haven, CT – Albertus Magnus played host to the Purchase College men's lacrosse team Wednesday evening. Behind four hat trick performances, the undefeated Falcons showcased their balanced scoring in a 14-5 non-conference final. 
Matthew Hutchings recorded a team-high four goals to lead Albertus (6-0), while Jon Olson, Zaheim Wilkins and Bailey Kirwin, notched three goals apiece. Olson also led the team in assists with seven.
Undefeated Falcon goalie Dane Walsh (4-0) earned the win after collecting 11 saves. 
For Purchase (2-5), freshmen 
Shakim Carr (Brooklyn, NY) and 
Quran Langston (Stamford, CT) paced the offense with two goals each. 
Cristian Ishoo (5th/Tarrytown, NY) chipped in with one goal, while 
Riley Donovan (SR/Billerica, MA) picked up a team-high 11 ground balls
Sophomore netminder 
Will Boes (Pleasantville, NY) suffered the loss despite shutting down 10 Falcon scoring attempts. With the loss, Boes dropped to 2-5 overall. 
The Panthers trailed 5-1 at halftime, but came alive in the third quarter with a trio of unanswered goals. The scoring run put PC within two goals of the hosts' 6-4 advantage. 
Purchase connected on one shot in the fourth quarter but could not hold off the opposing offense. Albertus fired in eight goals over the final 15 minutes to seal the victory. 
The Panthers look to bounce back in their next game on Mar. 29. The team will travel to New London, CT for a 3 p.m. non-conference contest against Mitchell College.
