NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Purchase College women's tennis team secured a tough road win Sunday afternoon, besting Yeshiva University by the score of 4-3 in a Skyline Conference matchup.
With the win, the Panthers moved to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the league. As for the Macs, they dropped to 1-3 and 0-2, respectively.

However, the team's fortune changed once it moved to singles action, as the guests secured the four necessary wins.

Amelia Perlmutter (SO/Rutherford, NJ) cruised by the scores of 6-1, 6-1, while No. 6
Katelin Smith (SO/Slate Hill, NY) won in a similar fashion, 6-2, 6-2.
The other two wins came in a much more dramatic style, as No. 2

Sierra Blanco (JR/New York, NY) outpaced her opponent, 6-3, 6-7, 6-3.
Up next for the Panthers is a return to non-conference action, as they face John Jay College on the road. That contest is set for September 17th at 4 p.m.
