PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Purchase College women's soccer team fell to Sarah Lawrence College, 7-0, in Skyline Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
With the results, the Panthers are now 4-8-2 overall and 2-6 in the conference, while the guests moved to 6-8-1 and 5-3, respectively. 
The Gryphons jumped out to an early lead, scoring four times in the opening half before adding three more after the break.
Despite the deficit, the Panthers continued to battle, with goalkeepers Jill Creegan (SO/High Falls, NY) and Carolyn Hough (SR/Massapequa, NY) combining for 20 saves on the day.
Offensively, Julieth Velasquez (SR/White Plains, NY) led Purchase with three shots, while Katherine Lasky (FY/Lancaster, NY) added one on target.
