PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Purchase College women's tennis team continued their winning momentum on Friday afternoon, sweeping the University of Mount Saint Vincent, 7-0, in Skyline Conference action.

With the results, the Blue and Orange improved to 4-4 overall and 2-2 in the conference while the guests dropped to 1-4 and 0-3 respectively.

The Panthers set the tone early by claiming all three doubles points. The top duo of Amelia Perlmutter (JR/Rutherford, NJ) and Emma Arnaud (SR/Farmington, NY) powered through a 6-2 victory at No. 1. Katelin Smith (JR/Slate Hill, NY) and Novalie Nguyen (SR/Macedon, NY) followed with a 6-3 win at No. 2, while Sierra Blanco (SR/New York, NY) and Lilia Qi (SO/Buffalo, NY) completed the sweep with a 6-1 result at No. 3.

Purchase remained dominant in singles play, winning all six matches in straight sets. Perlmutter led the way at No. 1 with a commanding 6-0, 6-0 performance, while Arnaud matched her energy at No. 2 with a 6-0, 6-1 finish.

Smith and Blanco cruised to identical 6-0, 6-0 results at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively. Nguyen added a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 5, and Sadie Killebrew (JR/Brooklyn, NY) rounded out the sweep with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 6.

After the weekend, the Blue and Orange will travel to Lehman College on October 6.
