NEWBURGH, N.Y. - The Purchase College women's lacrosse team was defeated Tuesday night, falling at Mount Saint Mary College in a Skyline Conference matchup by the score of 21-0.

With the result, the Panthers dropped to 0-10 overall and 0-6 in the league. For the Knights, they moved to 6-9 and 2-4, respectively.

The hosts opened the game quickly and never looked back as they scored 11 goals in the first quarter.

By halftime, the score was 15-0.

For the Blue and Orange, they finished the night with one shot, three ground balls and four draw controls.

Valentina Quintero (FY/Eastchester, NY) recorded the lone shot on goal, while Bernie Seweryn (FR/Brooklyn, NY) caused two turnovers.

In goal, Amani Jamal (SR/Hopewell Junction, NY) finished with seven saves, three ground balls and one caused turnover.

Up next for the squad is the final road game of the year, as they travel to Farmingdale State College on April 18th at 4 p.m.
