With the results, the Panthers secured the No. 4 seed in the upcoming Skyline Conference Tournament and recorded an 8-4 overall record and 4-3 in the conference. The Mariners secured their No. 1 seed with the victory and finished 8-3 and 6-1, respectively.

Before first serve, head coach Jordan Snider, Purchase College President Milly Pena and the team honored their graduating seniors — Andrew Agosto (Poughkeepsie, NY), Oliver Culliton (Boston, MA), Suleyman Eminov (Mary, Turkmenistan), Frederick Kaden (Farmingdale, NY), and Steve Mains (Mount Kisco, NY) — with heartfelt words and gifts. Each senior was joined by family and friends on the court, creating a special moment before the night's competition began.

Following the Senior Night festivities, play got underway with doubles action. Purchase picked up a win at No. 1 doubles, as Eli Palagatshev (JR/Yonkers, NY) and Eminov secured a 6-4 victory. However, USMMA took the doubles point after winning at No. 2 (6-0) and No. 3 (6-3).

Palagatshev quickly dominated at No. 1 singles with a 6-1, 6-4 victory. At No. 2, Eminov battled through a marathon three-setter, winning 7-5, 6-7, 18-16 to give the Blue and Orange another crucial point.
