Every week, the Sports Information department will post a "Did You Know?" tidbit to the website.

This week's interesting tidbit is: Did you know that Purchase College senior and former men's basketball player Chad Duke was named the Media Relations Intern with the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) for the Spring 2026 semester?

Duke will assist with the MBWA's website, social media, and archival projects while gaining hands-on experience in sports communications, adding to an already impressive resume that includes a successful college basketball career, a Sports Information internship at Purchase and multiple professional and community-based roles off the court.

Duke shared his perspective on the opportunity, saying, "My goal is to see the other sides of athletics beyond just playing, using my talents to share stories that highlight dedication and discipline while developing strong work habits and professional skills that will help me succeed beyond sports."
