NEW YORK, N.Y. - Two Purchase College student-athletes earned Skyline Conference weekly awards, it was announced Monday.

Softball

Bryce Kane - Rookie of the Week

During her lone start on the mound, Kane (FY/Westborough, MA) pitched a no-hitter in her collegiate debut, as she allowed just two walks while striking out 12 over five innings.

At the plate, she was equally as good, going 2-for-2 with a triple, an RBI, a run and a walk.

The award was the first of Kane's career, and the first of the year for the squad.

Tyler Salerno - Honorable Mention

During two Skyline wins last week, Salerno (JR/Kings Park, NY) went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with a triple, five RBIs, three runs, three walks and three stolen bases. His OPS was a mind-blowing 2.667.

The award was the fourth of Salerno's career, and his first since 2024.
