PURCHASE, N.Y. - The Purchase College men's tennis team outlasted Hunter College Thursday afternoon, besting the non-conference foe by the score of 4-3.
With the result, the Panthers are now 3-1 on the year. For the Hawks, they dropped to 1-2.
The Blue and Orange started the day with a big win in doubles action by taking all three contests.
Then in singles, No.1
Eli Palagatshev (SR/Yonkers, NY) secured the easiest win by the scores of 6-1, 6-3.

Pedro Llonch-Vidalle (SR/New York, NY) later prevailed - 6-3,6-4, before No.2
Isaac Spottek (SO/Conkiln, NY) sealed the win with a comeback effort.
After dropping the first set, he rallied by the scores of 6-1 and 10-6 to earn the match and contest for the Panthers.
Up next for the squad is a return to Skyline Conference play, as the Panthers host Yeshiva University tomorrow (3/27) at 11 a.m.
