PURCHASE, N.Y. - The Purchase College men's volleyball team secured a Skyline Conference win Sunday morning, topping Yeshiva University in straight sets.
Set scores for the contest were 27-25, 25-18 and 25-18.
With the win, the Panthers are now 9-12 overall and 8-3 in the league. For the Macs, they dropped to 1-20 and 0-14, respectively.
Overall, the Blue and Orange finished with 44 kills on .313 hitting against just 18 errors.
Individually,
Jael Martinez (JR/Bronx, NY) led the way with 18 kills on .630 hitting, while
Udel Phillips (JR/Far Rockaway, NY) added 17 kills on .560 hitting.
Danny Kanner (FY/Smithtown, NY) recorded 37 assists, seven aces and seven digs, while
Joey Toscano (SO/Levittown, NY) tallied 10 digs in the win.
Up next for the squad is a road matchup with St. Joseph's University-Long Island on March 31st at 7 p.m.
