ALLENTOWN, Penn. - The Purchase College women's lacrosse team was defeated on the road Monday night, falling at Cedar Crest College by the score of 20-2.

With the result, the Panthers are now 0-6. For the Falcons, they now sit at 7-4 overall.

The hosts paced the action early, as they scored six of the first seven goals over the first quarter.

By halftime, the score was 10-2, before the Panthers were held scoreless in the second half.

Individually, Julieth Velasquez (SR/White Plains, NY) finished with both goals, five ground balls, two caused turnovers and one draw control.

Catie Chios (JR/Westbury, NY) added an assist and four draw controls, while Jill Creegan (SO/High Falls, NY) tallied three ground balls and a caused turnover.

In goal, Savannah Haynes (FY/Yonkers, NY) totaled 11 saves and two ground balls.

Up next is a return to Skyline Conference play, as the Panthers travel to Maritime College on April 1st at 4 p.m.
