PURCHASE, N.Y. - The Purchase College men's lacrosse team was thwarted at home Wednesday night, dropping a tight contest to Mount Saint Mary College by the score of 5-3.
With the result, the Panthers are now 1-5 overall and 0-1 in the Skyline Conference. For the Knights, they moved to 3-6 and 1-0, respectively.

Over the remaining period, the Knights scored three times in a row, before another strike from Redwood moved the score to 4-2.
In the fourth, the two sides traded goals as
Ryan Haberski (FY/Saugerties, NY) found the back of the net for the Panthers.
In the end, extra-man opportunities sunk the hosts, as Purchase went just 1-for-5 on the chances.
