NEW YORK, N.Y. - Purchase College junior
Brian Saldana was named to the 2026 Baseball All-Skyline Conference Second Team, it was announced Tuesday.
Saldana (Middletown, NY), who earned his place on the squad in the Utility position, led the Panthers with his bat and his arm.
At the plate, he recorded an impressive .404Â batting average, which was seventh highest in the entire conference. He finished with 23Â hits, including six doubles, a triple and two home runs, while also collecting 16 RBIs, 13 runs and 11 walks over 30 games.
On the mound, Saldana made eight starts to finish with three wins, 27 strikeouts and a 6.57 ERA over 37 innings.
With his recognition, it marked the fourth year in a row that a Purchase baseball player was named to the All-Skyline Conference Team.
