DANBURY, Conn. - The SUNY Purchase women's tennis team cruised to a huge win Thursday afternoon, besting WestConn in a 7-0 sweep.
With the result, the Panthers moved to 2-0, while the Wolves dropped to 0-2.
The Blue and Orange jumped in front with a 2-1 win in doubles action, before they claimed the contest with all six wins in singles play.
The biggest results on the day were by No.3
Bianka Grzesik (FY), who prevailed by the scores of 6-0, 6-1 and No.5
Alyssa Muschenick (FY), who won 6-1, 6-1.
Up next for the Panthers is the home opener, as they host Hunter College on September 14th at 3:30 p.m.
