NEW YORK, N.Y. - Two SUNY Purchase student-athletes earned Skyline Conference weekly awards to begin the 2026 season, it was announced Monday.

Women's Cross Country

Flora Parker-Myers - Honorable Mention

During the SUNY Purchase Invitational last week, Parker-Myers (SO/Kingston, NY) placed 8th out of 93 runners. She finished the 4K race in a time of 17:11.5

The award was the first of the season for Parker-Myers, and the seventh of her career (three Skyline Honorable mentions, All-Skyline Conference First Team, SUNY Purchase Rookie of the Year and SUNY Purchase Female Athlete of the Year).

Women's Tennis

Bianka Grzesik - Rookie of the Week

Grzesik (FY/Warwick, NY) in her first week as a student-athlete went undefeated in singles and doubles while helping Purchase to a pair of victories. She earned straight-set wins at No. 3 singles and added a pair of victories at No. 2 and 3 doubles.

The award is the first of her career.
