PURCHASE, N.Y. - The SUNY Purchase men's soccer team was defeated at home Monday night, falling to The City College of New York by the score of 1-0.
With the result, the Panthers dropped to 1-6-1 overall, while the Beavers are now 2-3-2 on the year.
The lone goal of the evening came early, as the guests found the back of the net in just the fifth minute.
Overall, the Blue and Orange produced four shots (all on goal) in the effort, all of which came in the second half. However, they could not find an equalizer as the guests escaped with the win.
